About Us

My wife and I spotted, bent down and inspected, and finally plucked from the sand every piece of sea glass in our collection. It is valued by its uniqueness, origin, color, size, and the amount of natural wear from salt and sand along the beaches of Puerto Rico's west coast, where we found it. Enjoy the easy feeling of the Caribbean when you're adorned in its beautiful treasures, brought to you exclusively by La Con Tej artisans.

About the Owner

We live in Waukesha,Wisconsin in the summer, and winter in the "Porta del Sol" on the western tip of Puerto Rico. Rincon is the town we call home in the winter, and the area we collect our sea glass. Our sea glass jewelry studio is in Waukesha.

We attend local markets and juried art fairs, and have been awarded third place for our jewelry in the prestegious Art In The Square event in beautiful downtown Crandon, WI.

We have had the honor of being selected to participate in the Lake Country Charity Connection at Chenequa Country Club. LCCC was founded by a group of compassionate Lake Country women in 2003. LCCC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with an objective of creating awareness and providing financial support to local charities. This seasons local charity was Katy's Kloset in Waukesha, WI that is an equipment lending library for anyone that would have the need. A percentage of the vendors sales goes to the selected annual charity.

See our " Do Good Page" for more information on charities.
